Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is a natural form of health care that can help you to improve your quality of life. It focuses on the musculoskeletal system and provides a drug-free, non-invasive approach to helping patients manage their pain and maintain their health.

Our doctors of chiropractic at the LCC use chiropractic adjustments in order to improve joint mobility. This helps to remove the subluxation and reduce tension in the muscles, ligaments and tendons, allowing for the proper functioning of the joint. Through these adjustments, we also work to remove pressure from the nervous system, which allows for improved communication to and from the brain.

X-rays are a precise and accurate way to visualize the structural elements of your spine. At Life Chiropractic Centers, we employ the latest technology to capture images of your spine to better diagnose and care for your whole health.

X-rays use highly focused beams of electromagnetic energy to penetrate through your skin and bones and produce an image onto a piece of film. This image will show spinal alignment, degree of movement, joint spacing and other conditions of the spine, which are simply not visible with an ordinary physical exam.

Sports Injuries

Our skilled chiropractors specialize in helping individuals recover from athletic-related ailments and regain optimal performance. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field, we provide comprehensive care that addresses the underlying causes of your injury.

Our approach to sports injury care combines advanced techniques with a deep understanding of the musculoskeletal system. We recognize the unique challenges faced by athletes, whether professional or recreational, and tailor our chiropractic services to meet your specific needs. Our goal is not only to alleviate pain and discomfort, but also to optimize your athletic performance and prevent future injuries.

Our chiropractic care for sports injuries begins with a thorough assessment. Softwave TRT

This technology activates the body’s natural healing properties without the need of surgery or pharmaceuticals.

  • Increase blood supply
  • Modulate inflammation
  • Stimulate and activate stem cells
  • Repair and regnerate tissue
  • Reduce acute and chronic pain

This is a long lasting, positive solution for musculoskeletal injuries.

Laser therapy

Laser therapy is a non-invasive, safe and effective form of treatment that is being increasingly utilized by chiropractors to assist in the relief of a range of ailments and musculoskeletal conditions. Laser therapy stimulates the body’s natural healing process by applying a specific wavelength of light to the affected area. This wavelength of light has been found to reduce inflammation, stimulate the production of neurotransmitters and promote regeneration of tissue. It has also been shown to reduce pain levels and improve tissue repair.

Chiropractors use laser therapy for a variety of conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, joint pain and ligament sprains. Laser therapy has been found to be a valuable addition to traditional chiropractic care when used in conjunction with adjustments and therapeutic exercises, as it hastens the healing process and helps patients return to normal activity sooner.

Spinal decompression

Spinal decompression is a non-surgical, medical procedure used to treat chronic pain by spinal disc compression. It is a type of motorized traction that is used to separate or ‘decompress’ the vertebrae of the spine in order to reduce pressure and inflammation on the spinal discs. The decompression is done by slowly stretching the spine to create negative intra-discal pressure, which helps to increase blood flow and nutrient-rich fluids to the damaged disc, promoting healing.

Spinal decompression is an effective treatment for conditions such as herniated discs, bulging discs, sciatica, nerve pain, degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis. At the LCC, we use the latest spinal decompression systems to help reduce pain and improve nerve function in our patients.

The process begins with a thorough physical examination and review of the patient’s medical history. We us specialized equipment, such as X-Rays or CT scans, to diagnose the patient’s condition and create a customized plan for treatment. During the actual spinal decompression session, the patient is laid on a motorized table and secured by straps around the lower body. The table then begins to move, slowly stretching the spine.

Electrotherapy is a form of treatment for a variety of ailments known as electrical muscle stimulation (EMS). It works by sending electrical impulses through electrodes placed on the skin in the affected area. This stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, resulting in reduced inflammation, pain relief, improved muscular strength and increased range of motion. Some patients may even experience improved circulation and decreased pain associated with swollen joints or soft tissue damage. To ensure the best possible results, our team will develop a customized care plan that could include EMS and other therapies such as ultrasound, laser and manual therapy.
